An
introductory level course consisting of 5 sessions of 3 hrs. each.
The course is ideal for all artists who want to make and maintain
their own web site. It is designed to provide an all-round view of
the HTML mark-up language as well as Dreamweaver, the leading Web
design software authoring package.
The course is structured in such a way that at the end the participants
will be able to have their own web site designed and ready to go on-line, providing
they have all the content ready. That will include image galleries,
contact pages, etc.
No previous knowledge of web design is needed. The only requirement
is to be comfortable with computers. Please get in touch if you

This is an introductory to intermediate level course consisting of 5 sessions of 3hrs. each.
The course is ideal for all artists who need to make the most out their digital work, being it generated digitally or analogically (and scanned). The topics are approached in such a way that you will learn the "how to", as well as the "why", across the board.
You will be introduced to the whole Adobe Photoshop digital work flow (inclusive of Adobe Bridge & Adobe DNG converter). The course also covers RAW format capture, advanced image manipulation and optimisation techniques. Photoshop automation, as well as the basics of Colour Management will also be covered. This includes Photoshop's colour settings, monitor calibration, Greyscale, RGB and CMYK conversions and how to best output photographic images to various media. |

About Arnold Borgerth:
Born in Rio de janeiro - Brazil, Arnold Borgerth moved to Portugal
in 1990, and since 1994 have been based in London. As a self-taught
photographer, he has been working simultaneously since 1980 in
three different areas within the photographic field:
- in education, currently teaching at the "Image & Communication"
MA degree at Goldsmiths College - University of London
- as an artist, having his work widely exhibited in Brazil, Argentina
and the UK
- and as a commercial photographer (Architecture, Fine Arts, Design,
Editorials)
