About Core Gallery and Cor Blimey Arts
Cor Blimey Arts is an artist-led co-operative made up of professional artists and practitioners with a wealth of expertise between them: painting, sculpture, installation, drawing, textiles, ceramics, digital and new media. It has a fifteen year history of both local and international exhibitions, educational workshops both onsite and as outreach projects.
We have a supportive artistic environment which engages and involves the community and also run educational projects.
Cor Blimey Arts has led a number of community projects and has been instrumental in maintaining DnA which was conceived in 2005 as DAN - the Deptford Arts Network - by a group of artists working in different studios in and around Deptford and works on a voluntary basis. Its main presence has been a website, which provides views and news from Deptford artists and showcases work and an annual exhibition during Deptford X.
Core Gallery was launched in 2010 as an artist led, not for profit gallery space run by Cor Blimey Arts members, based in our studio complex. Please visit coregallery.co.uk
